EAST TENNESSEE MAN SENTENCED FOR PRODUCING COUNTERFEIT CURRENCY
KNOXVILLE, Tenn - Nathanial Wade Bullock, 31, of Heiskell, Tenn., was sentenced today by United States District Judge Thomas A. Varlan to 18 months in prison and three-years supervised release.
Bullock pled guilty on October 28, 2009, to one count of counterfeiting United States currency. In the course of its investigation, United States Secret Service agents found Bullock in the possession of counterfeit currency, several uncut sheets bearing images of counterfeit currency, and computer equipment and supplies associated with producing counterfeit currency. Bullock admitted to having produced approximately $10,000 in counterfeit currency.
This investigation was conducted by the United States Secret Service. Assistant U.S. Attorney Frank M. Dale, Jr., represented the United States.
